Title: Utrogestan conti to sequi
Post by: Margymoo on May 13, 2022, 04:02:12 PM
Just after a bit of reassurance and advice please.  Age 51, was on the combined pill for donkeys years, took it continually so no periods.  GP took me off it at age 50, had 2 periods in the following 12 months.  An array of symptoms kicked in so was prescribed HRT patches and Utrogestan sequi, did this for a month but felt more settled when on the Utrogestan so moved to continuous also upped my patches from 50 to 75.  My problem is continuous bleeding since starting the conti regime, hoped it would settle but hasn’t.  My GP has advised to move back sequi to settle and regulate the bleeds into a pattern.  Has anybody done this and was it a smooth transition?  Hoping it is but nothing seems straightforward with HRT initially!  Any positive advice greatly appreciated

How long have you been on the Conti regime, it may take a while to settle.
