Hello all,
Just wondered if any of you nice ladies (who are way more knowledgable than me) could take a look at my recent blood test results - see if any other i should be questioning as i read somewhere that Thyroid result is often stated as normal...but depends on the number??

FREE T3 - 5.08
FREE THYROXINE - 13.7
FREE ANDROGEN INDEX - 3.6

Hi I think you’re normally given a range for thyroid results do you can see whereabouts you are in that range . x

It says -
TSH - Range 0.27 - 4.2
Free T3 Range 3.1 - 6.8
Free thyroxine Range 12 -22
-
Hi so it’s saying that all your thyroid results are within range. x

Hi Dotty, yes thanks ....it was just that i had seen somewhere that even though the GP or whoever tells you its normal range, you could still be classed as under or over active depending on the number.....but I'm no expert!!
Thanks xxx

Hi Vicky, yes you are right . It's a long time since I've examined thyroid numbers but I think your TSH should be as near to 1 as possible. I'm sure someone else will be along to look at them for you xxx
