A month ago I started getting an odd sensation in my left breast. Then it felt like it was pressure. Ended up in Accident & Emergency 3 times in a week, thought I was having a heart attack. ECG, chest xrays and bloods show everything is ok. My doc has put it down to menopause. Just wondering if any of you have had anything similar ? It changes, it can be pressure, achey, stinging / tingling. Sometimes worse than others. And always on my left side. I only started HRT last night, this weird stuff started about a month ago.

Hi! if you've had recent investigations it is unlikely to be anything serious.
As oestrogen levels drop we can feel all kinds of weird sensations. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is common in pregnancy and again in peri-menopause.
Which HRT has been suggested? Some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary useful.

Hi Crow Lady,
There is also another possibility of a sliding hiatus hernia. Do you ever have any indigestion/reflux symptoms. This can cause some pain and discomfort that feels like left breast pain. It took years for me to find this out.
