Hi all I have been prescribed vagirux alongside my evorol conti patches .I'm on the last day of inserting everyday for 2weeks . Sometimes when I am wiping there is blood or dried blood and sometimes on my underwear . Is this normal

Morning. Slight blood show is probably due to the vaginal lining remaining thin. I would continue with the product every night for at least another 4 weeks, some find that using 'yes' or 'sylc' products on the outer vaginal areas helps too.
Do read the 'bladder issues' and 'vaginal atrophy' threads. Make notes ;)

Hi Weeloz
Depending on how long you have been on the Evorel conti patches without any bleeding or spotting - you should refer this to your doctor to be on the safe side (eg if longer than 6 months and no bleeding). It may well be the trauma to the tissues from inserting the applicator but as well to seek medical reassurance.

Thank you I was on the patches for 3months no bleeding I came off patches at the end of March as I had forgotten to replace them I got a bleed and was seen by a gynocologist examined and said everything was fine the bleed was due to stopping the patches and can go back on them . I have been in them for a month again now She also prescribed the vagirux. I went on hrt patches to help with the dryness but it didn't do anything I only noticed the difference once I used vagirux. So now I don't know whether to continue with the patches or just use the vagirux on its own

It could be caused by being very dry down there and the applicator causing friction on already sensitive tissue. Do you use a vaginal moisturiser, if not definitely advisable.
I would wait to see how it all goes but if it carries on then seek medical advice. Lots of trial and error and getting into a routine when first dealing with Vaginal Atrophy treatments but glad you are finding the Vagirux already helping you.
