Title: Femoston/Femoston Conti/ Prolapse Ring
Post by: Pixielilac on April 29, 2022, 02:41:37 PM
I saw my doctor today, originally about my prolapse and to be referred to gynae, which he said to try other things first. He said it would be a good idea to put me on a higher dose of HRT, I am on Femoston Conti 1mg/5mg and will now be on Femoston 1mg/10mg, does this mean I’ll get bleeds again as it’s not conti? Not got them yet, chemist has got to order them so not sure if there’s a break with them for 7 days.
Didn’t think to ask at the time, not until you leave then think ‘oh yes, should have asked this and that’
For the prolapse he has suggested a ring that goes in and holds it all up as he said. It’s not the e string, has anyone else had this support ring and how did you get on with it?

1/10 is cyclical HRT so you will get a withdrawal bleed at the end of the progesterone phase.

Also you still have 1mg Oestrogen, same as femeston Conti. 2/10 would be better for increased Oestrogen.
