I’m wondering if I apply too late in the morning? I shower after a workout and cleaning up etc so it’s normally around 11 or slightly later. I think I’m a bit moody in the mornings and so does my husband but brighten up after about 2ish. Just wondering what others experience is. I’m on Androfemme and feel so much better and my menopause symptom score went from 32/40 to 5/40. Testosterone had the most obvious improvement too. I am a bit more tired in the mornings when I’m taking Utrogestan too.

My specialist said to apply first thing in the morning which is when it is naturally higher in our bodies. x

Thanks. I think my doctor said the same and I emailed them but they didn’t really answer. I’m going to change my schedule so I apply earlier.

I'm using Tostran 5 pumps a week. Not easy to share out over 7 days and I really noticed a difference if I went 48 hours without so I use it every 36 hours. I've had to put reminders in my phone and I'm happy with the timing now.

Hello ATB xxx
I apply mine as soon as I wake up (around 6am)
I have 2 coffees in bed (become more awake), then at 8am I go for a run, then cycle, then housework and then have a shower; around 11am xxx
Applying the cream that early for me helps me exercise better xx
I have tried applying the cream after my exercise (11am) but it didn’t work for me in the way it does now x

Are people applying gel every day? I don't know how I could measure that given in using 5 pumps each week.

Thanks Justyna I’m considering trying that schedule. I don’t know why but I thought we needed to shower before applying it!
Still searching, for Androfemme you apply a small amount of cream every day.

Hi there I apply mine in the morning before dressing.
Are people applying gel every day? I don't know how I could measure that given in using 5 pumps each week.
There are different concentrations of testosterone in the different formulations. I use 1 % testogel sachets and apply a pea-sized blob daily. Tostran is twice as concentrated so is usually applied less often In fact I recall guidelines used to say start at 2 pumps per week rising to 3. 5 pumps tostran is a lot of testosterone I would say. How long have yu been using this amount and are you having T levels measured to check you remain within range? Very important....
ATB I never notice whether I take it or not - eg if I miss a day. It doesn't usually have an instant effect though there must be some aspect that is more instant than the 4-5 months . From what I recall it has a longer half-life in the body than estradiol so I reckon OK to take alternate days or miss a day
