Title: Diarrhoea back but can't increase oestrogen
Post by: Dandelion on April 25, 2022, 07:46:49 PM
I am 55 years of age.
A few years ago, before I was on enough oestrogen I had diarrhoea, urgency on a morning a few times in a row, an increase in my oestrogen patch sorted it out.

I have had to reduce the oestrogen under medical supervision due to abnormal bleeding (had scans, hysteroscopy etc) and the diarrhoea did not return, I still need a fan by the bed and even then my top is soaked with sweat, but no more flushes.
The gynaecologist discovered small fibroids so definitely no more oestrogen.

I went to my GP who took 2 stool tests, one for surgery and one for lab, and they came back negative.
I had bloods done last week and am going back on Wednesday for results.
I have had this diarrhoea since December, it is not the same as before, it comes random times a day.

Thanks
