Title: Hello-new member
Post by: Floradora on April 15, 2022, 04:30:00 PM
Hi all. Just realised I haven’t introduced myself. I’ve followed this fab forum for years but only just got around to joining. I’m 54 and post meno and I’m on Femoston conti and bucketloads of Vagifem and Ovestin! I fully intend to stay on low dose HRT for the rest of my days!
I had an early (and sudden) menopause at 44 after years of severe endometriosis . I also have osteopenia and am currently recovering from a broken ankle! It’s safe to say that over the past 10 years I’ve had virtually every symptom known to man and have experienced both great and useless NHS GPs and both great and useless private gynecologists.  However, I do feel that I’m now coming ‘out the other side’ and so just want to let all you ladies who are really struggling just now know there is hope and you can and will feel better eventually. I hope I will be able to make some useful contributions here and there from my own experience that may help someone x

Hello lovely flora 🌺
Hope your ankle gets better soon!
Thankyou for your kind responses to my recent crisis posts  :)

I too am on FC, but upped to 1.5 mg today, as 2mg sent me into a jittery spin!

Speak soon
Nas x

Thank you Nas and I hope you find the 1.5mg helps to settle your symptoms. Maybe after a few days of a settled regime you will start to feel a wee bit better over the course of this week. X
