Hi,
Has anyone experienced high level of oestrogen in their blood tests? My test came back at over 600pmol. Previously 170 & 340 (while on the same dose of patches).
I'm 51, perimenopause, been on patches for nearly a year:
initially great, then symptoms returned so patch increased by menopause specialist. I'm now on a total of estradot 125 and Utrogestan+ testogel + ovestin for VA.
VA has not improved much
Libido disappeared entirely.
Huge, sore breasts (sometimes they deflate and then go back to being huge)
Weight fluctuating. (I exercise regularly and eat healthily).
Little muscle tone, given the level of exercise.
Anxiety.
Sweating at night (and more recently during the day).
Joint pain at times.
Forgetful.
Can't concentrate.
Low mood.
Are the symptoms from oestrogen being too high or is it just fluctuating?!

Hi Allie,
My symptoms returned after vaccine but raising my estrogen just made me feel worse. Could this possibly happened to you?

Hi Sweettooth,
Thank you for your reply. Interesting to hear you experience. I didn't have a reaction after my vaccine, but had a reaction to a medication a few months ago and ever since then my symptoms have flared up again. So maybe there's something still going on.

So hard to know Albie what’s causing what and how to treat it! Do you mean your levels shot up or was it after being increased in your patch? X

Sweettooth - I had been on Estradot 100 and was still having symptoms so was increased by 25. Levels must have increased after that. And Utrogestan seemed to make symptoms worse again, after not having problems for ages. It's all very frustrating!

Trouble is it’s all the waiting to see what’s causing what and what is helping! Seems like you have had quite a jump after 25mcg increase. Perhaps your own estrogen fluctuating, sorry I can’t be of more help x

Thank you Sweettooth, it's really helped to be able to discuss it 😊 And you're right about the waiting! x
