Title: Side effects of Evorel 50 patches and Utrogestan capsules

Hi i'm Alli
I've recently started Evorel 50 patches along side Utrogestan capsules. A couple of days on them i started getting painful joints, stab pains in my leg and my moods really went down hill  :'( As anyone had these side effects and if so what did you do? I can't get to see or talk to a clinician for 3 weeks.

It's usually the progestogen that causes the problems. Would it be an option to use a sequi regime to start with? That way you'll know if it's the utro. 12 days x 200mg (days 15-26) if want to try it. Do you take the utro orally or vaginally? There are fewer side effects if used vaginally.

Hi

Thank you for your advice i shall talk to the clinician about it when i see her.

I take 1 capsule a night orally.

The low moods have got a lot better and joints not has painful but i do still keep getting sharp pains in my leg  :-\
