Title: Evorel dosage
Post by: Flan747 on April 01, 2022, 02:21:04 PM
I am currently on Evorel 75 and recently increased form 50. I am peri and symptoms have improved massively since starting this mad journey, however I continue to have fluctuations which cause anxiety and palpitations. Does anyone know if I went for a higher dose that may stabilise the fluctuations a little better?

I didn’t find the evorel 100 any good at all. The 75 was okay, but bleeding was a problem for me. When I did increase to 100, I found symptoms much worse for some reason.

Everyone is different I guess.

Hi Nas, it’s working fine no bleeding problems but I’m trying to sort the fluctuations hence my thoughts on maybe getting to 100 to try and even things out?

Yes you could certainly try the 100, but maybe worth remembering that whilst you are still in peri, your own hormones are always going to flap around in the background, until the dust settles?

Hi Flan747,
I think I’ve over ridden my cycle using 4 pumps of gel. I think Evorel 100, although I’m not sure, is about the equivalent dose.

Hi VictoriaV, are you peri and do you mean the fluctuations have lessoned going on a higher dose?

Hi Flan747, yes peri, I don’t feel any fluctuations. I can’t remember when I last did, started HRT in August 2021.

Hi Flan747, I’ve not had any tests or seen a meno specialist, I’ve gone on symptoms only. I don’t want to mislead you so thought best to say that I don’t know where I am in this journey but I’ve not done a year period free yet. ☀️

Thanks Victoria that’s fine it’s nice to hear other stories! I still have a lot of symptoms and can’t seem to get the dosage right so I was thinking of maybe increasing to 100 to see if that helps stabilise things a bit better! Who knows it’s all guess work! Glad your settled though on your regime. Thank you for replying x

I’m still tweaking! I changed route 4 days ago and fingers crossed it’s ok so far, hope I’ve not jinxed it now!
I went out in the city last night for the first time in ages, got home at 6am! Am now cabbaged on the sofa and I only drank soda!
