Title: TESTOSTERONE & SHBG concerns😕
Post by: sweettooth on March 31, 2022, 08:32:08 PM
Hi everyone, this is bothering me and I hope some of you lovely people can help.

I am on oral 2.25mg Estrogen only tablet and I have read that it can raise SHBG and lower T.

My SHBG is high at 215!and my T is 1.3 (FAI 0.6)

I don’t know what to do as my tablet worked a treat before vaccine but not now and I’m afraid of changing as had problems with absorbtion on patches & gel.  I’m so sensitive to hormonal change! I have improved but at such a low pace.

My specialist says those T levels are ok, but I know they’re not, going by guidance Iv read!!

Any advice or insight please? Ta

Have you noticed any change though in how you feel? If you feel well I really wouldn't worry about. The FAI index is more of a guide for those still will symptoms to see if adding in testosterone might benefit.

Hi Gnatty,  since reducing T to every other day I do not feel as good.  I have looked at guides and my free T in pants so I think il prob increase a little.  My legs are sooo weak first thing and have to rest up for a while before I get going.  I think you’re right in that it’s how we feel. X
