Title: Alternative Progesterone Help
Post by: Dawnp on March 30, 2022, 02:30:04 PM
I am having progesterone nightmares and wondered if anyone has any alternative suggestions.
I started Provera last night and feel like I’ve been hit by a bus so I suspect I can’t tolerate it.
I have also tried Norithesterone, Utrogestan- which both gave me panic attacks.
Tried desogestrol as I’d used it in the mini pill but it gave me migraines when I tried it again.
Really don’t want the Mirena at this point.
I’m struggling to find a list of alternatives in the UK so any suggestions would be very gratefully received.

Hi this is the link to the Brotish Menopause Society info on progesterone.  Near the end you will find a list of progesterones. x
