Hello
After many years on Cerazette/Desogestrel contraceptive and hardy any periods I'm having periods again, although very light, the current one is in it's 5th week! I'm pressuming this is a last hurrah as I'm 53 and hoping the whole business will be over soon. Has anyone had any experience of periods coming back when on Cerazette contraceptive during menopause?

Morning, :welcomemm: What a nuisance! Any PMT to write home about?
Does it give any clue in the leaflet in the box?
Hopefully someone will be along. It may well be your hormones over-riding the Contraceptive . Browse round.

Thank you for your reply.
It's good to know there is a community that understands, even when the posts are a bit whiney, and a bit 'poor me', as mine is on re-reading a week later!

I have no experience of cezarette but I think you should see your gp in case there's something else going on. I think it supposed to override your own cycle? In which case you may have fibroids or polyps causing it.
