Title: Has anybody had tiny red itchy blood spots on arms from taking HRT
Post by: Hopeful2 on March 02, 2022, 03:28:49 PM
I've had terrible itching even keeping me awake at night taking HRT. Itching stopped and blood spots fading now on arms  after stopping HRT a few weeks ago. I've had this itching on both elleste duet and oestrogel & utrogestan, itching stops when I stop HRT. Is there any hope of finding HRT that won't do this.  Sorry I've posted about this already. My GP is hopeless. 2 kind ladies on here suggested patches are better. Dont know if I should pay to see a doctor specialising in menopause there is one nearby. Ive taken cyclogest pessaries and progynova for IVF before with no problems. Any advice please.

Get an appt to the menopause clinic ASAP as many have waiting lists.  In the mean time, keep a mood/food/symptom diary to chart progress, it gives you something to discuss with a professional.  It's OK to keep to one thread so that you don't get lost in the fray ;-).
