Title: Vaginal Atrophy
Post by: holidaylover on February 21, 2022, 08:02:22 PM
Hi
I think I may have VA.  I'm quite dry down below with occasional itchiness.  The main problem I have is internal.  Sex has become impossible because of the pain which feels like broken glass and it really stings.  Does this sound like what it may be? And, if I go to the Doctor would I need an internal examination?  What is the best treatment for this?
Thank you

Sounds like it from where I'm sitting. 4 me it was like razor blades  :o up there.  After a few urine samples that didn't grow bugs, my GP gave me 'ovestin'.  Others prefer 'vagifem'.  Ring your GP surgery and ask for appropriate treatment, you shouldn't need an exam.

In the mean time, read the vaginal atrophy thread ;-).  When I get the need2P feelings I take 2 Nurofen 3 times a day.
