Title: Prof James Malone-Lee
Post by: Joaniepat on February 19, 2022, 06:15:08 PM
Prof James Malone-Lee, pioneer in the treatment of embedded/chronic UTI, died this morning. A great scientist, clinician and a lovely man who will be greatly missed. He improved so many lives and gave hope and a cure to those who had suffered for years. Rest in peace, dear "Prof".

Sort of. I believe it was a rapidly progressing cancer. He only gave up working at beginning of February.

I'm so sad to hear this. I was treated by Prof for several years - a very compassionate man, a total one-off and completely passionate about what he believed in. For a long time, he was pretty much a lone voice in the field of chronic and embedded UTI and championing the cause of those suffering from that awful illness.
