Title: Progesterone 200mg tablets
Post by: Emlou04 on February 12, 2022, 02:16:08 PM
Hi, still new to all of this so a question for you as even though my GP was happy to prescribed HRT, he didn't know much about it & his advice was to have a look around online for others going though perimenopause to get support & answers.

So my question is I use two pumps of Estradiol gel every day & take Progesterone tablets (Utrogestan 200mg)for 12 days of my cycle. The thing is since i started this, been taking them since November, I have been getting my period before I'm due to stop taking Utrogestan, last month was two days before & this month is three days. Is this normal? & do I carry taking the Utrogestan ?, is this something that will settle into a routine the longer I take them, its only been a few months so any help would be a huge help.

It’ll settle. I found it took me about six months or so xx

I would keep to the regime - sometimes hormones and HRT clash for a while.

:welcomemm: broswse round. Make notes ;-)
