Title: Recommend a Menopause specialist in Northern Ireland?

Hi all
I'm just hoping someone has experience of and can recommend a private menopause specialist here in NI.
I am hoping to discuss my HRT options and testosterone treatment so I need to see someone who is open to prescribing testosterone.

Hi shells99 - if you go to the specialists tab at the top, or menu of your device, this will take you to the British Menopause Society find a specialist so you can search there. I believe the clinics listed are both NHS and private - but all endorsed by the NHS so nothing too wacky or unregulated  ::).

I had researched these clinics and have contacted each one to enquire if the clinician prescribes testosterone.
I'd like to know this before choosing which to book an appt with.
I was also hoping someone on here might have had reason to recommend one of these.
I noticed that there is also a NHS clinic in Belfast, staffed by one of the specialists who also offets private consultation.
I might just contact the NHS clinic first to enquire about waiting list etc.

Hi Shells99,

I would be interested in finding this out too. I’m based in NI as well.  I’m not happy with my gp experience and I would be interested in finding someone who tests/prescribes testosterone? I’m not really responding well to the hrt I have been prescribed.  I would be interested to hear how you got on with the Belfast clinic.
