Title: Bleeding after switching types of Utrogestan
Post by: Floodlights on January 31, 2022, 12:22:48 PM
Hello

I originally started taking utrogestan orally and was advised to change to vaginally due to progesterone sensitivity. My medication wasn’t changed. Instead of swallowing the Utrogestan balls, I used them vaginally.

10 days ago I changed to using Utrogestan vaginal capsules.

I now have an irregular bleed / period. I only have to take Utrogestan for 14 days each month. I finish this months on Thursday and would normally expect a period around the following Saturday / Sunday.

Do I need to worry about the bleed? It may just be a blip. I’m well into peri and probably soon will move to menopause.

Thanks
