I’ve only been using sandrena for 1 week and been taking it in the morning however my main symptom is morning anxiety and wondered if I should apply it in the evening instead?

You could try both and see which works best? I take sandrena too but always put it on in the morning after a shower. No reason why you can’t do night time or depending on dose split to do both ( it come in 0.5 or 1, if you take 1 a day you could ask your gp for two doses of 0.5 instead and take one morning one eve)

Also depends where you apply it and who you share your bed with and whether you mean eve or night. It is important to avoid close physical contact with another (male especially) for at least an hour after applying the gel - this of course only applies to the application site on the body!
