Title: Changed from Estradot 75 to Oestrogel pump.

Hello, I wanted to ask for your experiences. My GP recently took my oestrogen levels as I had been having break through symptoms on Estradot patches and she prescribed gel starting at 2 pumps. She thought that a different delivery via the gel may make a difference.   I have now settled on 5 pumps (2 am and 3 pm) which have taken care of the symptoms but I am now having sleeping issues.  I have been using the gel for about 3 weeks now.  Does anyone know if the sleeping will settle down.  I have never been a brilliant sleeper, previously waking once or twice but going back to sleep.  Now it feels like I wake every hour and at 2 am approximately I am awake for 2 hours!!
I am 65, had a hysterectomy 15 years ago and have taken oestrogen ever since with great results.

Hi Lippyqueen. I can't answer your gel question as I'm on patches but just wanted to welcome you.
