Hi all,
I know its common for headaches to occur more often but I have been having them first thing in the morning. Anyone else?

Could it be dehydration overnight or your sleeping position? How long does it take to ease each morning, does that coincide with breakfast?
Is it severe enough to take pain relief?

I usually have to take ibuprofen and have something to eat and drink. Takes a couple of hours to clear. I do have arthritis in my neck so it could be positional.

Are you clenching/grinding your jaw/teeth during the night without realising it? This caused headaches every morning for me for a long time, until my dentist put this forward as a possible cause and fitted me with a mouth guard to wear at night. Headaches on waking cured!
