........... complying with Government Laws?
>:(
-
I'm well and truly done. :cuss:
-
It's almost 1st April type telling tales in the playground?
-
Seems funny to me that someone waited a whole year before mentioning this!
-
That was my first thought though as DH mentioned, 1 always takes copies of e-mails etc., in case 1 is dismissed and there maybe a Court Case ::)
-
Is there any evidence there actually was a “party”?
-
That's the grey area. Were they at a 'meeting' where food happened to be served or ........... :-\

Like all the celebs who were jetting all over the world while we were all locked down at home. They claimed they were on “business meetings” not “holidays”. Just that their business meetings took place on golden beaches with palm trees and crystal clear oceans. ;D
-
Was the mock press briefing the actual party? I have to say I thought Allegra Stratton seemed a tad tipsy to me! If they were in a bubble at work and swapped pen and paper for cheese and wine is that allowed?!! I agree that it's a bit strange that it is all coming out now. After a year, why? Who leaked this, as they were obviously there too? And why when we saw the video clip, were everybody elses faces obscured? They were all there too, egging her on.
-
I agree Penny, all the celebs showing off their oh so fabulous beach bodies on some exotic paradise, whilst we all sat at home being told DONT YOU DARE GO ANYWHERE,yet again, one rule for them, another rule for us and we all just take it >:( >:(
-
She was a civil servant. When they say 'they' broke (or at least bent) the rules who are 'they'? Civil servants or MPs?
-
That has to be both. Surely Civil Servants do all the work which may include setting up nibbles/wine/coke ..........
-
He's got an excuse now for a Party - he's fathered a daughter, born this morning ::)
-
Oh dear.
Party gate, wallpaper gate and a probable back bench rebellion. Plus if Shropshire by-election goes badly he'll have more reasons for sleepless nights.
Interesting times.
-
It'll be nappygate next ;D
-
Haha Poo gate.💩
-
Ha ha this is getting ridiculous now! They had the horrible little shouty former Speaker, John Bercow on TV this morning. As if anybody would take seriously anything he says when his own wife preferred spending time with the “king of the gypsies” than him and then she had an affair with his brother!! He couldn’t even keep his own house in order let alone the house of commons. ;D ;D
He did his best to run down Boris now that he has defected to Labour and is no longer Speaker. Total creep.
-
Can't stand him either Penny,he freaks me out for some reason
-
;D. I bet he knows how many children he's got though.
-
Eeoooowwww yuk, imagining him looming down on top of you :-X 🤢
-

-

-
I'll do it,me me me ,hand them over sheila
-
-
Who else are we lining up while jaypo's volunteering?
-
Oh don't get me started ;D
-
So it *was* a party. :-\. So 'they' are being issued with fines, I wonder how much? Will this come out of their own pockets or another 'stealth tax' ???.
Now 'they' R using the War in Ukraine as an excuse not to stand down. How can 'they' sleep at night :'(
-
What I don't understand was the Xmas parties, I mean me and OH went out for a meal on Xmas day two years ago :-\
-
'They' are supposed to lead by example, not stand in Parliament trying to convince the opposition that they 'hadn't broken the Law'. Laws which 'they' had put into place to keep everyone safe. People with relatives/friends incarcerated in care homes and hospital for various reasons were not allowed to visit. :'(
-
They're all as bad as each other in my opinion >:(
-
Yep. I keep waiting for the Press to find out 'parties' that Labour or the Greens have thrown since 2019.
-
Time 'they' let it drop. Everyone except the media is heartily sick of it. If the public want him gone he'll be voted out at the next election.
Personally I think it has a stench from all sides. If the police are so sure it was a crime perhaps the cops on the doors should be disciplined for allowing it to happen under their noses.
-
Little Rottweiler Sturgeon was photographed at a pub with no mask, speaking to a couple and no social distancing, they're all a joke, agree Sheila, wish the media would change the bloody record
-
sheila - that was my complaint initially, why did the Police let 'anyone' in if it wasn't a work do, surely they get a daily list of expected visitors and why?
-
Apparently Boris was fined £50.00 :'( >:(
-
That'll teach him ;D
-
