Title: Menopause clinic

Hi everyone.
Wish me luck, I'm sitting at home waiting for a phone consultation from the NHS Meno clinic about restarting hrt age 63, after an enforced gap of a year.
I'm feeling very nervous as 3 previous gp consultations have been refused.
I feel as if this is the last chance saloon.
Keep fingers crossed for me, if this fails I don't know where to turn to

Suggest you will approach Dr. Currie for back-up if not getting anywhere. It worked for me, as did quoting from the forum, Newson material etc. Be armed with good evidence. Hold your ground. Vital. 🤞

Good luck Suza.  The anticipation of a negative outcome is so stressful.  I was in the same situation a while ago but turned out well.  Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks to you all for your replies
Just to let you know the outcome of the phone consultation was good, the consultant was lovely, and her first words were, I can't see any reason for you not restarting hrt.
She's writing out a prescription for lenzetto spray, 2 pumps daily, to be reviewed after 3 months.
So happy,.I'm still in shock!!
