Hi
I am a bit confused about oestrogen pessaries and I wondered if anyone might be able to help me. I was prescribed Imvaggis, which says that it contains 0.03mg of estriol. But I didn't get on with them, as I don't have a problem with dryness and rather embarrassingly, they kept slipping out. So my specialist has prescribed me Vagirux instead, which says it contains 10 micrograms of estradiol. That seems to be a huge difference in amounts (but it could easily be I misunderstand) especially given that I am currently taking Lenzetto spray which says that it contains 1.53mg of estradiol. Which would make the Vagirux much stronger than Lenzetto, and yet I thought the pessaries were supposed to be low dose!
I am supposed to be increasing my Lenzetto from 3 sprays to 4 too, and I don't want to do that if the Vagirux does contain a high dose.
I hope that makes sense.
Thank you.

Thank you. I was assuming the abbreviation for micro grams was mg but it’s not, it’s mcg. Hence my confusion but you’re right, it’s not a high dose.
