I'm postmenopausal and in severe pain aching and sharp pin prick like pains over my body which are agony
I'm 48, periods stopped a year and a half ago
Been in bed for 2 months like this unable to do general stuff
If this is my life from now on I may of well be dead
My depression has got worse and doctors arnt any help
I'm desperate :'(

Have you considered asking for some hrt from your GP? If as you say he isn't much help maybe you could be referred to a menopause clinic.

Morning. As oestrogen levels drop muscles may become lax = aches and pains. Also the body may become dry, inside and out.
Do U mean that you haven't been out of bed for 2 months? Do U live alone, if not then your house mate/husband etc. should be asking the GP for advice on your behalf. Moods can alter during The Change. You would probably benefit from a full blood count to include thyroid function test, anaemia and VitD levels.
How often have you spoken to a GP? In these difficult times of getting even a 'phone appt., it can be demoralising. When depressed I would hardly move ........ it took mediation to even get me out of bed.
