Hi
In the last few days, I have developed a hot burning sensation on the back of my neck and the top of my back. A quick search of this symptom ( on this site only) it seems that it’s not that uncommon, and has been linked to histamine in some cases.
The histamine connection being something that happens with high oestrogen levels. I hope I’ve understood that correctly.
The thing is, I have not increased my oestrogen lately, but, on the advice of my clinic, I have increased the androfemme. Is there anyone out there who has experienced similar?
As a bit of background, I’ve been on transdermal hrt for over 3 years, and my recent bloods showed oestrogen level of 416.95 .
I’ve taken an anti histamine , so I’m hoping to get a bit of relief while I try to work out what’s going on.
Thanks
D,

Hi,
I am the proverbial’flea bag’ . Since my meno symptoms started about 6 yrs ago, my itching and burning skin has driven me to distraction!!
I have been on hrt sequi for 4 yrs and the whole lot calmed down, still a bit, but not really a problem, BUT- I am discovering that I have recently had a big drop in Oestrogen and guess what....... all my symptoms are back with a vengeance including the burning and itching
My upper body just itches and itches and, you get the picture 😂. Top of my legs just burn.
Tbh , I have tried loads of potions and lotions, but ultimately it is the old oestrogen is the only thing that calms mine down.
