Title: Can periods come back after 21 months?
Post by: KarineT on October 31, 2021, 10:22:42 PM
I am wondering if there is a possibility that periods can come back after 21 months without a bleed.

If they do then it is considered an abnormal bleed and would need investigating to rule out endometrial cancer. Often it is a hormonal blip but it is not something which should be ignored.

Any bleeding after more than 2 years should be investigated .

Could be Taz.  I would recommend KarineT to visit your GP surgery.

I think it's 1 year as well. Whatever the norm is there's always someone who's different so I wouldn't rule it out. We know some do go longer than a year.
