Title: How long was your longest gap?
Post by: gm_thomson on October 23, 2021, 11:00:45 PM
Just had my period after a 6 month gap. I know you need to wait 12 months before declaring menopause so am assuming you can have gaps up to that long but it seems like that is cutting it close if you can have periods 6 months apart lol. Anyway just curious, what was your longest gap between periods?

9 months.  Then it was there  >:(  ::).  At least there was no pain and the flow was much lighter than during my regular years.

Some women have a gap longer than 12 months but the nhs use this for safety.
