Title: Types of hrt patches
Post by: Paula469 on October 20, 2021, 06:46:03 PM
Hi, I'm using Evorel Sequi (50). I've been on them for 3 months. I am 52 and still have periods. Are there other brands of patches similar to these or do the other brands have different strengths/ingredients?

Hi Paula469

There is estrodot which are smaller and deliver oestrogen in a slightly different way I believe. I have to say though that I tried them and preferred evorel. Hope this helps x

Hi Paula, the most comparable patch to yours is FemSeven Sequi which has the same dose of oestradiol but a different type of progestogen.  However, it has been off the market for a couple of years & is not expected to be available until 2022.  There are currently no other combined sequential patches, but if you feel yours doesn't suit you, you could talk with your doctor about changing to separate products for oestrogen & progesterone.  If you have a look at the treatments section of this site you will see all the options for HRT.
