Title: Period on half an everol conti patch?

Hi after a month on conti, last Tuesday feeling at my lowest I decided to rip off the patch, the day afterI had a slight light bleed and period pain after I put on half a patch, still not sure this conti is for me, today a week later I'm having another period pain and light bleed.
I've been period free for about 4 years, im trying conti alongside estriol for severe  VA.
So my question is, is the half patch causing me to have a period?
Should I try sequi? I'm totally sick of feeling very low as well as the VA, help please
