Title: Incontinence Pants for heavy period
Post by: Floodlights on October 16, 2021, 05:21:55 PM
Hello

Has anyone tried using Always Discreet Incontinence Pants for very heavy periods? Just wondered if they would work?

Thanks

I've seen good reviews online for Tena Lady Pants being used for heavy periods. I used to use superplus tampons plus the nighttime pads for mine but the pants might make you feel more secure?

Any particular reason why your periods are heavy, is this recently or have you always suffered?  I had dreadful, painful, clottty periods for years ..........  :-\

I used reusable large/night time pads - I went from about 7 night time Bodyform or Always pads to 3 reusable ones. It’s a bit like a crime scene when you wash them out and they feel like the old fashioned ones that used to feel like they were sticking out, but no plastic and no artificial smell.

My friend had a mirena coil fitted and that helped her heavy periods. I had a hysterectomy which solved mine  ;D but that was for various issues.
