Title: Estrogel only experiences

Can anyone tell me there experience on estrogel only? Regarding feeling worse or better & any side effects.

R U on an HRT regime?  Let us know which - U can also put the product name into the search box on the Forum to C what pops up?  Make notes ;-)

Thank you I will have a look.

I previously took estrogel & utro however I was progesterone intolerant so have been switched to estrogel only to see if this suits me better. So far it has trebled  my bloating & wondered if others had experienced this on estrogel only.

Hi if you have a womb then you need progesterone to protect it. Oestrogel on its own would only be used if you’d had a hysterectomy. x

Sorry I should have been clearer I have been switched to a long cycle by my menopause clinic with Utrogestan every 3 months.

3 months?? A long cycle is usually 6 weeks. Are you having scans to make sure your lining isn't building up?
