Hi!
I’m new here so apologies if I’m in the wrong place.
I started on Femoston 1/10 two years ago in Peri due to insomnia and terrible night sweats. Until afew months ago it was magic and I had a very “quiet” regular period early on into the estrogen pills and no spotting.
I’m now almost 51 and my bleeds on it have become erratic. No sore boobs any more, a missed bleed one month altogether and this month I’ve spotted on and off through all of the white pills without a full bleed ever getting going. I’ve also had the odd hot flash.
I’ll give it another month before I contact my gp.
Does anyone else have similar experience?
Pre-HRT I would have got anxiety about something nasty going on that might be causing the spotting.
I’m thinking it might be time to go to Femoston 2/10 and that I’m not building up a lining each month.
any help/advice would be really appreciated x

Hi! It can take 3-4 months B4 the body feels better with HRT. Especially if your own hormones are joining in.
Have a lookC at the product by putting the name in the search box on the Forum. Some find that keeping a mood/food/syptom diary of use. To chart progress.

I’ll use the search on Femoston 1/10. For two years it’s been brilliant but I have a feeling my own hormone changes are starting to override its effects xxx

I’ve started the grey pills and the spotting seems to have stopped. I’ll keep a diary from now on x

It does sound like your own Estrogen has dropped hence the symptoms . An increase in dose may be what you need.

That’s what I thought ::)
I’m a good few days into the grey pills now and the spotting has completely stopped.
If it happens again during the white pills on the next pack I’ll make an appointment.
