Hi everyone
I’ve been to the breast clinic today and had an ultrasound and mammogram because of breast lumpiness and pain.
They found scattered cysts in both breasts which are apparently nothing to worry about and very common for women in 40s (I’m 46). I’ve also had a scan to check the womb thickness and I’ve got ovarian cysts and a small fibroid. Again very common for my age according to dr.
Anyway I’m waiting to see my GP next week but she’s prescribed me the estrogen patch and utrogestan every 3rd month as in the past I struggled with the utrogestan. I just wondered if it’s safe to take these with breast and ovarian cysts as I’m sure I read it’s not?
Has anyone on here for cysts and taking HRT? I’ll obviously check all this with my GP next week but would like to know in the meantime.
Thank ladies :)

Quality of Life is important.
If the technician had been concerned - they know about your HRT regime ? - then further investigations would have been suggested.

I've had 3, 2 before peri/hrt and one after (a huge one, convinced it was BC). They told me they're much more common at this stage of life, they didn't tell me to stop hrt.
