Title: Progesterone vaginally UTI
Post by: Sjays on September 24, 2021, 10:39:00 AM
🤷‍♀️  where do I start? Well I’m taking utrogeston vaginally the side effects are making me really low, I’m tired all the time, feel sad most days, I’ve now got cystitis and to top it off started to bleed, so do you think I should just stop the utrogeston completely, I can’t tolerate taking it orally,I’ve got an appointment next week with a gp but need advice real soon, trying to get hold of the gp before my appointment is near on impossible TIA x

Anything in the vagina can cause irritation.  The tissues feel it as a foreign body.

Do U have atrophy?  When I get the urge to P I take 2 'nurofen', 3 times a day.  I would also stop the Utrogestan .  MayB put the product name into the search box 2 C what others have done?

Are you meno and taking it continuously? You could try sequi on a long (6 week) cycle. I get fatigue on utro and prefer it this way. Alternatively you could try provera or a mirena.
