It's not C.mas yet - but the News is all about how a lack of lorry drivers may cause panic buying closer to C.mas ;D.
Why wait: I'll fire up the charabanc shall I ::) - for loo rolls, kitchen rolls, Kleenex [already short on the shelves]. Baked beans, biscuits, cleaning products; knickers and hygiene products, toothpaste/brushes . Soap, shampoo .............
What will you be buying, on an 'in case' basis ?

Wine!
-
Poo bags
-
One has to buy food to need poo bags ;D
-
I’ve got a garage full of canned Tuna from the Bird Flu era! ;D
-
I don't eat tuna these days so I won't be rushing round ;D
What R U feeding, lions :o.
-
Strangely lion cubs did eat it, I donated some to a local zoo!
It was an ordering error, Pre brain fog too; I maintain I ordered a pallet but a container arrived :D
-
;D
I fed the neighbours' cat tuna last week, he's been a regular visitor for 'extras' for 12 years: we haven't seen him since :'( :-\

Talk about queues to get petrol. :-\
Every petrol station we passed today they were holding traffic up waiting to get in.
Panic buying already.
My OH started, he then started off another bloke in the supermarket car park, and I was like, :o … ;D ;D

We’re off for a holiday break on Sunday. Little fuel, so after hearing the news DH went out with a plan to do a tour of the three petrol stations in the local town, with plans to go further afield if necessary. First one had no queues. Filled up ready for our first trip in 2 years. Couldn’t believe it when he came home quicker than expected. :)

I queued for 30 minutes this morning (my tank was low and I would have filled up anyway, as we are travelling on Monday). I got to the pump and it had ran out! A very kind man allowed me to back up to his pump when he had finished, before the next person in the queue rushed in. I was traumatised before I got to the supermarket to do the weekly shop!

Then the price will go up ???
Apparently Brexit has caused shortages of drivers, well the Haulage Association spoke about this situation 3 years ago! but did the government of the day listen :-X. Same as with Health Care, they speak a lot of hot air from their lofty perches in Parliament, knowing that a) they get ferried around so don't have to queue up for fuel, b) that they don't pay for it and c) they can afford private health care when push comes to shove and wouldn't I; right now; love to push a few >:(
I need knickers, will they become short ;D
-
This government is not fit for purpose.
-
Have we had 1 that has been since the 1920s? :-\
-
Big queues for fuel here :(
-
There should be a limit on how many cans people fill, but would you, as a cashier, challenge any1? This reminds me of the 1980s - my parents had to stay on a campsite in the Brecon area 2 weeks longer than planned due to no fuel. ⛽️
-
We've just come back from our holiday. Hadn't heart about the panic buying of fuel until the day before we were due to come home. We didn't go far on our last day and managed to find a small village garage on the way back to fill up so we could get home. We arrived back to queues at every garage causing tailback on the road 😨😨

How was your time away daska86 ?
-
I bought £20 worth this morning which was all they allow (no queuing). While I was paying a man in a big posh 4 x 4 interrupted and asked the woman on the till whether he could have more petrol as “I have to get back to London”. She just said “No”. he wasn’t best pleased and went off in a strop. I called to collect my prescription nearby and then drove on to supermarket about 10 miles away and there was the man filling up at another petrol station!!
;D ;D
-
Was there a limit there, I hope so ;D
I can manage without most items other than 'kleenex', bananas, oats and Coke

Apparently a lot of 'c.mas' gifts are stuck at Felixstowe - so toys might be in short supply. Look out for queues and panic buying ;D
