I’m 40 and for a year or two prior to this year had been having peri menopausal symptoms. A hormone test at the beginning of this year confirmed low estrogen and likelihood that my symptoms over recent years were due to perimenopause, and I started HRT - femoston sequi. For the first few months it worked fantastically and I felt the best I had in years. For the last three however I’ve noticed that in the days leading up to the bleed I have a return of my old symptoms - I’m waking with night sweats, some day flushes too, my hair and skin feels oilier and I’m very fatigued. I just feel very “hormonal” for a week max. Could this mean I need higher dose, or a different type of HRT, or is this fairly typical to get a hormonal week every month?
Any advice appreciated so I’m well-informed before speaking to my GP!

Thanks, will do that. Had hoped low dose would be enough for first while :(
