Hi,
I have started taking Utrogestan 100 mg tabs, orally last night and use estradot patches ( started on 37.5 mg but think I want to up it soon to 50mg). I’m post menopausal and this is the second time I’ve tried HRT after stopping Elleste Duet conti tabs a week or so ago.
My GP didn’t know a lot about them and I thought I was to take one every day continuously ( on an empty stomach) and also thought I read that on the menopause Doctor website, but the instructions in the packet say to take it on either two different cycles, so presumably you get a bleed, which I don’t really want and thought I could take it continuously?
Is it ok to take this continuously? I was taking both progesterone and oestrogen before on the Elleste tabs, and I though for post menopause this is ok ? Please can someone put my mind at rest? :)
Thankyou,
Teresa
