hey girls,
just wondering if anyone has quartered their patch and had a good outcome.
I found the oestragel 2 pumps and then 1 pump too strong, where i was totally spaced out on it. so my consultant has recommended that I use the patch and to quarter it.
thanks girls

Why doesn't he prescribe a lower dose patch? 25mg is equivalent to 1 pump so you could just halve that. It doesn't really add up though, 25mg is a low dose so halving that will give you very little benefit. It's possible it's something else in the gel you're reacting to so changing to a patch could improve things.

I think it's perfefctly possile to be so sensitive to changes in estrogen that halving or even quartering a 25mg patch can make a difference. I'd try it - what've you got to lose?
