Post by: moonbeam121167 on August 27, 2021, 05:50:38 PM
Hi all

been on 2mg estrogen only hrt for years , about 9 yrs in total and been great but I am putting on alot of weight, suffering a real bad back, feeling very tired all the time, question I was asking is is it worth me a 54yrs old to start reducing my HRT to 1mg.

When did U have a full blood count, thyroid function and VitD tests?  It mayB that you need to up the HRT rather than dropping it?

Cosh years ago, do you think going to see a GP would be a start.

How much weight have you put on, has it been gradual or suddenly?

Getting a home monitor blood pressure test kit might be a start.  Taking BP - best of 3 - at the same time daily, making a note to take to your GP.  DH has white coat syndrome which means his BP flies hi in the surgery!

How long as appt.s to C a GP at your Surgery, perhaps ring to find out.  A blood test can be taken by the phlebotomist ........... in the mean time, keep a note of your symptoms?
