Title: Evoriel conti 50mg
Post by: Happychappy on August 23, 2021, 12:12:36 PM
Hi ladies, this is my first post. I have been on and off evorel conti 50mg patches for approx 18mths. I stopped a few times due to bleeding and last time because they were not helping my sore joints but went back on them because of sleep deprivation :(. I'm struggling at present and was wondering if anybody knows if you can have an increase in the dose.

I believe you can go up to 150, however I'm sure you'd have to do that under doctor supervision
I'm on 50 atm so keen to see what others say or what your docs says
I started about 6 weeks ago and don't feel any better, previously had the coil and 125 premarin

Take care Les xox

Hi Happychappy
Evorel Conti only comes in one strength. To increase the oestrogen you would need to switch to an oestrogen only patch with a separate progesterone. You can increase to 75 or 100 patches . It is possible to have more than that but usually under the guidance of a menopause specialist . x

I was advised that the ony way to increase would be to add half a patch but this was not advised as the increase in progesterone may cause more side effects. As Dotty says the alternative is to change regime.
