I’ve just started taking this 3 days ago, was wondering if anyone can tell me how long it takes to start working ?
I was quite surprised when I took it out of the packet, was expecting something like a band aid but instead it’s a tiny clear circle sticker ! I can’t even imagine it doing anything ;D
I think my hot flushes during the day are less but the ones at night have intensified greatly, I fully burn up and then have horrible cold shivers
I am taking penicillin for my sinus infection so not sure how that affects things though

If U R worried about taking Penicillin and other meds., do ring your local Pharmacist.
Some HRT takes a while for the body to realise it's getting support ::) so don't look for instant relief.

Thanks, no I wasn’t worried about the penicillin. I was just curious how long the patches take to start working. I haven’t had anything like this before.
Also just curious people are saying they are taking pumps of some hrt. What are the pumps ? Is it a cream ?

Pumps refers to Oestrogel, a transdermal oestrogen gel which comes in a pump pack. It is part of some people's systemic HRT.

Just wanted to share an update if anyone is interested.
I’ve been on the patches 3 weeks now and my hot flushes have mostly gone ;D
If I get stressed I still get them and I still have anxiety but at least I’m not burning up every hour!
I also no longer get the awful adrenaline rushes anymore either. I feel a bit better down below with my dryness too. I’m not as itchy as I was and sometimes it got a bit stingy down there when washing in the shower but that has settled down.
I’m not game to try sex yet though ;D ;D
