Title: Help with blood test readings
Post by: Flan747 on August 11, 2021, 09:00:22 AM
Can anyone help me understand these readings please:
LH level 37.3iu/L
FSH 34.3iu/L
Oestradiol was 279 but that was on 4 pumps and now on 6
I have read the readings are post meno, I’m on continuous Utrogestron and had last period only 2 months ago. Do we need less estrogen in post sorry I’m so confused by it all

Hi again Flan,
My understanding of post meno is no period for 12 months?
Until this time, you are peri and should have progesterone sequentially
 ( unless no uterus)
I could be wrong though.

Most blood tests are unreliable post meno, as they give a reading for that day only. Hormones can fluctuate daily. Symptoms are the best guidance I think.

Hope you get sorted on the 3rd 🤞🤞🤞
