Post by: Tinkerbell on July 23, 2021, 05:01:35 PM
I have noticed before but do others find absorbtion of Oestrogel in hot weather is less? Feeling really sorry for myself as have had the worse flare up of VA in months :(

Then put more inside?  If we are runny overall, it may be draining more readily.  Use every night until this heat wave is over?

Also if you need to pee, use nurofen to relax the spincter muscle .........

I use Evorel patches, and they definitely don't absorb so well in hot weather - have had to put extra on as was feeling depression creeping up. I don't know if it's something chemical going on or just that they don't stick so well when it's really hot.....

I wonder if the absorption of Oestrogel is less in hot weather because the alcohol evaporates too fast, and the oestrogen doesn't get the chance to sink in properly? Could you add another half pump to compensate?
