Title: evorel conti vs evorel sequi patches
Post by: Baldrick11 on July 13, 2021, 04:51:48 PM
Hi all

Does anyone know why one person would be prescribed Evorol 50 and another Evorol Sequi.

What’s the difference and is one better than the other?

Thanks

Kay

Hi Evorel Sequi is for peri menopause and Evorel Conti is for post menopause .

Evorel 50 is oestrogen only so is prescribed for ladies who don’t have a womb . xx

...or if they already have the Mirena coil for contraception for example, which can be used as the progestogen part of HRT, or if they don't have a womb - in both these instances Evorel 50 can be prescribed on its own.

Btw your title said conti vs sequi but your post talked about Evorel 50 - my response was just about that.
