Even the so called 'expert' who began a podcast couldn't get the perimenopause and menopause statements the correct way round  :poke2: and apart from the British Menopause Society being mentioned; once ; MM didn't appear in the context ...........

What the women stated was that girls should be finding out about perimenopause much earlier ....... but in my 30s I wasn't interested, I was still finding who I turned out to B! and knew about The Change - loss of periods, the odd hot flush ........... and chicken skin  ::).  Nothing was said, periods were hardly spoken about when I was young.

"You don't want to know about that yet" I was told about The Change.  When I handed over a book about menopause to my neighbour in her late 40s, "I don't want to even think about that, I've heard it can be awful".  Yep, if 1 isn't prepared, it might well be 'awful'.
