Hello
I’m Jackie and new today. I can’t wait to become acquainted with you and share in the menopause journey we’re all facing.
I’ve been in denial about the menopause for a while now, and just managing to cope. Then I hit a wall on Monday which was the last straw, gripped with anxiety I scuttled home after dropping off the kids at school and phone the doctor for an appointment about HRT. Let the journey begin …

MayB keep a mood/food/symptom diary for 2-3 weeks 2 chart progress, it gives you a starting point with the GP discussion. Anxiety is the pits! >:( and seems 2 B problematic in peri menopause. You will need to know the date of your last monthly period etc., as well as your age will determine what might be prescribed.

Thanks for your reply, and helpful suggestions. I’ve begun to record my symptoms in an app called Systers, which is v easy to use (has to be with my clouded brain fog 😁). And my GP phoned yesterday, which is where I discovered this site! Happy days! Xx
