Title: Ovestin and bladder pain
Post by: juwi on May 29, 2021, 10:20:59 AM
I have been put on Ovestin to help with bladder issues (burning bladder mainly). I tried Vagifem before but that caused irritation. I’m on day 5 of the Ovestin loading dose but all my bladder symptoms have come back - is this normal? How long does it take for them to ease off and for the cream to work?

Yep, it did 4 me for about 6 nights; it can cause aggravation if the area is very dry and sore.  How far up are you inserting the applicator to deliver the product?

Some ladies find that 'yes' or 'sylc' products help as well.  There are good web-sites.  If I get the nip when I stop passing urine, I take 2 Nurofen 3 times a day to relieve the spasm.
